Time to Give Your Caravan Table a Makeover

Plastic, paper, heavy crockery plates or maybe that picnic set you dragged out of the cupboard are never ideal tableware for your caravan or motorhome but they always seem to be the easy go to!

Over time the cheap or bog-standard tableware you use to eat all those campfire dinners, BBQ’s and renowned family feasts get scratched and when laid out on a table, never look particularly pleasing or stylish… The good news is, we've come a long way since 1884 when the first pleasure caravan was made and if you are wanting to inject some class and sophistication to your caravan dining experience then there is a great range of quality caravan and motorhome tableware out there for you.

Some of my favourites come from the well known and trusted Kampa brand. They are made from melamine and are much sturdier than your usual plastic tableware but much lighter than standard household crockery. The deceiving design is what makes them so appealing. Having a glossy shine you may be worried about chipping or wear and tear but with the 100% melamine they are extremely durable and dishwasher safe up to 70 C!

Personally I much prefer eating my meals from a "proper" solid plate and these do certainly fit the bill. Kampa have also brought out a full set including mugs, bowls and side plates to complement the wonderful dinner plates.

I'm sure all you guys must have some great tips and little secrets that make caravan dinning so much more enjoyable. I'd love for you to share your experience and tips with me below.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I hope my views and suggestions are useful to you!

Until next time,
